ANÁLISIS CRÍTICO DE LA RELATIVIDAD DEL MOVIMIENTO EN LOS TEXTOS DE FÍSICA UNIVERSITARIA

Abstract

RESUMEN: Se parte del hecho que la física del movimiento relativo difiere significativamente del tratamiento que de ella se hace en los textos de física de pre-grado. Enseguida se prueba esta afirmación mediante el análisis de contenido de esos textos comparándolo con la física del movimiento relativo. Se muestra que las diferencias son superables, para ello se usan dos vías: la primera consiste en la reformulación de algunos enunciados erróneos contenidos en ellos y la segunda es un relato del modo cómo el autor del estudio tratará la relatividad del movimiento en un texto que está elaborando. La superación las discrepancias conduce a una enseñanza coherente con la con la ciencia que se enseña. ABSTRACT: The basic assumption is that physics of relative movement differs significantly from the treatment which is given to it in physics textbooks for undergraduate use. This statement is proved through the analysis of the content ofthose textbooks, which is then compared with the facts of physics of relative movement. lt is shown that the difference between the treatment given in textbooks and physics of relative movement is reconcilable. To achieve this, two courses are taken: the first is the reformulation of erroneous concepts found in textbooks; the second is an account ofthe way in which the author will deal with the relativity of movement in a textbook in progress. The resolution ofthe discrepancies leads to teaching which is consistent with the science being taught.
