| Abstract: | RESUMEN: Se discute la forma de enseñanza de la biología a nivel universitario, con especial énfasis en aquellas carreras no biológicas. Son analizados los objetivos de esta enseñanza, que se debe, cuando y como enseñar en los cursos introductorios de biología a nivel universitario. Se presentan una serie de avances en el campo de la enseñanza de la biología. ABSTRACT: This paper deals with the teaching of biology in college, with special emphasis on nonbiological careers. The objectives, core subjects, opportunities and methodologies for the introductory teaching of this field at the university level are analyzed. Advances in the teaching of biology are addressed. |
