| Abstract: | RESUMEN: Se presenta una breve información acerca de los estudios que se han realizado sobre sipúnculidos en el golfo deCariaco, Venezuela y la lista de las especies hasta ahora registradas en ese cuerpo de agua. Desde el primer estudio realizado en1975, se han identificado siete géneros y 15 especies de sipuncúlidos pertenecientes a cinco familias, y sólo ocho especiesregistradas para el golfo de Cariaco. ABSTRACT: A brief account is presented of sipunculans in the gulf of Cariaco, Venezuela. Since the first sipunculida studyin 1975, seven genera and 15 species belonging to five families have been identified, eight species having been registered forthe Gulf of Cariaco. A catalog of the species of sipunculida in that body of water is presented. |
